Powers is a unique singer, songwriter and cigar box guitar musician based in the United States. His style is heavily rooted in blues music but also has touches of folk, rock, and Americana. He plays his cigar box guitars like no other, taking inspiration from the past and incorporating the sounds of today. He sings with deep soul and emotion, reminiscent of Neil Young, but with a little of the Black Keys' edge. His songs range from heartfelt ballads to up-tempo shuffles, always creating captivating soundscapes that draw listeners in. His live performances as a one-man band are truly something special and not to be missed!
